Data Analytics Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role will include analyzing the current data environment, identifying and documenting inactive or redundant datasets, defining and implementing governance structures for dataset creation and ownership.
- Analyze usage patterns, dataset structure, and licensing in data platforms.
- Document and remove inactive or redundant datasets.
- Implement governance structures for dataset creation, ownership, access, and lifecycle management.
- Customize reports and metrics for monitoring, alerting, and insights.
You will also collaborate with data engineers to integrate data into analytics systems, create reusable templates or processes for long-term dataset monitoring, and provide technical documentation and handover plans at the end of the engagement.
Required Skills & Experience:- Degree in computer science, economics, or comparable training or professional experience.
- Certifications in data analytics.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with data platforms (including tenant-level administration and monitoring).
You should have proven experience working with data analytics tools, particularly with data lakes, warehouses, pipelines, semantic models, and experience working with or customizing the Fabric Usage and Monitoring (FUAM) toolkit or similar telemetry/monitoring frameworks.
