Senior Application Developer and Team Lead

 

Experience Required

6+ years in software development with strong expertise in Python, Django, and Java.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Python, Django, and relevant frameworks.
  • Write high-quality, readable code and apply object-oriented design principles.
  • Lead teams of developers, guiding technical direction and providing training to team members.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with databases like PostgreSQL for optimal performance.
  • Implement security measures to ensure the integrity of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in software development.

 

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Python (6+ years) and Django framework.
  • Proficiency in Java (5+ years added advantage).
  • Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA.
  • Knowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Leadership skills and experience in mentoring developers.
  • Strong coding, debugging, and optimization skills.
  • Experience in building secure and scalable enterprise applications.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with modern UI development tools like Bootstrap 4 and jQuery.
  • Exposure to Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
