Platform Leadership Opportunity

 

We are seeking a seasoned technologist to spearhead our platform engineering endeavors.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, infrastructure design, and DevOps principles.

You will be responsible for leading the architecture and design of platform services, implementing automation tools and processes, and monitoring system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable infrastructure solutions using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency and reliability in platform operations.

• Drive technical innovations and best practices within the engineering team.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and teams.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role, with a deep understanding of platform architecture and design principles.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.

• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and services, including load balancing, DNS, and VPNs.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
