Job Overview

The role of an Export Compliance Specialist involves ensuring that all export-related activities are conducted in accordance with relevant regulations and company policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of export files and Bill of Lading (BL) details within the LARA system across India.
  • Update remarks received from the Intermodal Team regarding Import and Export Cleanup files in a timely manner.
  • Handle Export Invoice RFIs within established turnaround times.
  • Respond to queries from vendors, GBS Team, and customers promptly.
  • Generate SDP and SDD codes within turnaround times.
  • Follow up on outstanding bills with vendors and the GBS Team for smooth payment processing.
  • Collaborate with the Mumbai Intermodal Team for Freight Order Generation and COL updates on LARA and LISA systems.
  • Publish daily, weekly, and monthly reports on intermodal moves.
  • Address and resolve service-related issues or escalations efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Verify that vendors understand invoicing processes, comply with company standards, and submit accurate invoices on time.

  • Immediate communication is maintained if any query arises.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree holder.

  • Well-versed in MS Office Tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
