Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer Role

As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects that address some of the world's most critical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create concepts and mechanisms for new products. Develop detailed product designs using 3D modeling tools such as Solidworks or Creo.
  • Coordinate prototypes, FOT approvals, and production process awareness. Ensure seamless integration between design, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.
  • Manage component lifecycle. Have experience with injection molding design, sheet metal designs, and castings. Develop expertise in mold and tooling design.
  • Develop knowledge on manufacturing processes, 3D modeling, and GD&T applications. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

You will have hands-on expertise in 3D modeling using Solidworks or Creo and experience in FEM simulation (static) is preferred. Additionally, you should have knowledge of ECN/ECR and SAP PDM systems.

A strong understanding of first principles and fundamentals is essential, as well as experience in pneumatics and fluid dynamics. Mold and tooling design knowledge is also preferred.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • At least 6 years of experience in product design.
  • Hands-on expertise in 3D modeling using Solidworks or Creo.
  • Experience in FEM simulation (static).
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and GD&T applications.
  • Experience in ECN/ECR and SAP PDM systems.
