Product Innovation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Innovation Lead to spearhead the design and development of our toys and supporting materials. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative, engaging, and safe products that meet the needs of children and parents alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Toys Design: Develop toy concepts and iterate on designs based on child-development research. Create CAD models, detailed production-ready drawings, and build prototypes with stakeholder input.
  • Design Language & Branding: Establish a cohesive toy aesthetic, including materials, finishes, and colors. Support the creation of our brand identity, including logos, packaging, and visual systems. Produce design guidelines to ensure consistency.
  • Parent Materials & Packaging: Design play guides, instructional inserts, and engaging graphics for toy packaging. Collaborate on the design of kit storage solutions (bags, boxes).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with child-development experts, manufacturers, and other stakeholders. Iterate designs based on user testing and safety standards (UKCA/EN71). Maintain design documentation for production and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Product/Industrial Design or equivalent. Strong CAD and prototyping skills, including SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, or similar. Portfolio showcasing end-to-end ownership from concept to prototype.
  • Experience with children's products, toys, or consumer goods is preferred. A creative thinker who balances aesthetics, functionality, and safety. Ability to work independently and deliver on tight timelines.
