Interior Purchaser Job Description

As a strategic and detail-oriented procurement specialist, you will lead end-to-end purchase operations for office interior projects.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies to optimize resources.
  • Build and sustain vendor relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers.
  • Manage supplier evaluations and risk assessments to maintain quality and compliance.
  • Oversee purchase orders, contracts, and price negotiations with vendors.
  • Coordinate closely with project teams to align purchase workflows.
  • Source materials matching project specifications and financial limits.
  • Track purchase timelines and coordinate logistics for smooth delivery to sites.
  • Maintain industry standards in all purchase activities.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Monitor vendor performance and refine vendor selection processes.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in purchase management within the interior design or construction industry.
  • Civil engineering background preferred.
  • Proven track record in contract management, material sourcing, and vendor coordination.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines seamlessly.
  • Proficiency with purchase management tools and MS Office required.
