Develop a Career in STEM Education and Training

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching and training teachers in STEM subjects using progressive pedagogical methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting high-quality workshops and courses for teachers in STEM with adult learning methodologies.
  • Preparing capacity building program plans in STEM and providing inputs for the preparation of the academic calendar for professional development programs.
  • Coordinating with other subject teams for planning and executing the STEM programs.
  • Analysing feedback on the training programs received from teachers and incorporating it into subsequent trainings.

Program Development:

  • Developing detailed program frameworks, teaching plans, and workshop modules for effective implementation.
  • Strengthening the resource centre and developing subject-specific resource material.
  • Regularly updating developed resources based on conducted action research or primary/secondary research.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualising, designing, and conducting research/s on a regular basis.
  • Exploring the latest methodologies, resources, and approaches in education and expertise areas.
  • Plan and provide on-site support to selected teachers in schools in the respective subject.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of relevant experience in capacity-building programs in Teacher Education and a Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent degree.
