Job Opportunity: Finance Back Office Audit Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Internal Audit team, specializing in the Finance Back Office function.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of finance operations, internal controls, and audit methodologies.

This role requires a hands-on individual with proven experience in implementing audit procedures, ensuring audit quality, performing sampling techniques, and delivering comprehensive reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust audit methodologies
  • Lead and execute audits with precision
  • Assess and evaluate internal controls for effectiveness
  • Prepare and publish detailed audit reports
  • Identify training requirements and coordinate with relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct quality awareness sessions to enhance skills
  • Drive process improvements, reduce defects, and increase efficiency
  • Support various audit requirements and collaborate with stakeholders
Qualification Guidelines:Education:

Bachelor's Degree (Any Specialization) or MBA (Any Specialization), with relevant quality certifications such as Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or similar certifications preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.Experience:

Strong accounting and auditing knowledge is required, with a solid understanding of auditing standards.

Extensive experience in finance quality control is necessary, with 8-10 years in the field, demonstrating accuracy and efficiency in finance processes.

Collaboration with auditors is crucial:

  • Experience working with both internal and external auditors to meet audit requirements.
  • Meticulous documentation is vital to adhere to audit quality standards and maintain detailed audit records.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills are essential to build relationships with finance management and other stakeholders.
  • Effective communication is critical to clearly document audit findings, including control weaknesses and process inefficiencies.

Data analytics skills and auditing techniques (risk assessment, control testing, and audit sampling techniques) are advantageous.
