Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team.

This is a challenging role that requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust cloud-native APIs, services and integrations. You will work closely with front-end developers, data engineers and dev-ops engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Create scalable, secure and efficient backend systems using AWS technologies such as Lambda, EC2 and RDS.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs using industry-standard protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • 3+ years of experience in building and maintaining production backend web solutions.
  • Expertise in AWS backend technologies, patterns and practices.
  • Fluent in high-level programming languages such as JavaScript or Python.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like CDK or Terraform.
