Job Overview

The Quality System Configuration Specialist is a key role that supports system program leaders with system configurations and global, web-based application support.

  • Provides daily system assistance via various communication channels to users of the EtQ Reliance application.
  • Troubleshoots system issues with users and collaborates with them to resolve the issues, as well as software vendors when necessary.
  • Performs system administration duties such as updating website information content and system data changes.
  • Assists with configuration changes to the workflow tool, EtQ Reliance.
  • Creates and executes test cases to confirm configurations work as expected.
  • Collaborates on software validation and change control activities.
  • Develops charts, graphs, and other reports using Excel, Tableau, and other tools.
  • Develops training materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Support: Provides timely and effective system support to users of the EtQ Reliance application.
  2. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoots system issues and collaborates with users and software vendors to resolve the issues.
  3. Configuration Management: Assists with configuration changes to the workflow tool, EtQ Reliance.
  4. Test Case Development: Creates and executes test cases to confirm configurations work as expected.
  5. Software Validation: Collaborates on software validation and change control activities.
  6. Reporting and Training: Develops charts, graphs, and other reports using Excel, Tableau, and other tools, and develops training materials.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Passionate about their work and helping others succeed, a team player.
  • Experienced in system troubleshooting and investigating root causes.
  • Proficient user of Windows and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • SQL experience required.
  • Past scripting experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, VBScript).
  • SharePoint experience.
