Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with experience in creating test cases, executing tests, reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, including SQL, troubleshooting abilities, and proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or other relevant languages. They will also have extensive API test experience and be able to adopt the standards and leading practices for both custom software and package software with a focus on testing processes for continuous improvement and automation.

Additional responsibilities may include performing initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source; working as part of a team of experienced QA Engineers testing multiple releases; and performing any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years' experience having expertise in creating test cases, executing tests, reporting bugs and collaborating with developers
  • Manual Testing exp 5+ years
  • Experience on testing RESTful Web services API automation using REST Assured is good to have
  • Exposure to Git, Jenkins, Maven, CICD Tools
  • Testing of Cloud hosted applications and customer facing applications
  • Payments industry experience desirable but not essential
  • Experience in creating test automation for APIs, single or multiple micro services
  • Experience in building test scripts for test automation framework
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC
  • Excellent technical skills including SQL, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Nodes/JavaScript experience or other relevant language
  • Extensive API test experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
