We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Transaction Monitoring Specialist. In this position, you will play a key part in ensuring the integrity of our financial systems.

  • About the Job:

The primary responsibility of this role is to review assigned alerts and document findings using the AML alert management system. You will also conduct enhanced due diligence research of individuals, institutions, and trusts through various tools and databases.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Achieving Excellence in Compliance:

  • Review manual referrals generated by different areas of the bank
  • Analyze low, medium, and high-risk accounts to identify suspicious activity
  • Prepare and review loan accounts, RDC, wire transfers, and monetary instrument reports
  • Use transactional and customer records, external data, publicly available information, and other relevant sources to identify unusual patterns or activity

Unwavering Commitment to Regulatory Compliance:

  • Maintain strong investigative skills and the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
  • Identify potential risks and red flags associated with money laundering

Navigating Complex Transactions:

  • Conduct thorough research on individuals, institutions, and trusts through LexisNexis and other online tools
  • Collaborate with bank management to address suspicious transactions conducted by customers

Your Qualifications:

  • Candidates with a minimum of 1-8 years of experience in AML - Transaction Monitoring (International Process)
  • AML level 1 detection certification is required
