As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines to curate sourced data into the in-house data warehouse. This involves analyzing relevant internally and externally sourced data to generate business intelligence and advanced analytics datasets based on stakeholders' requirements.

To achieve this, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and team-oriented approach. You should also have experience with databases and data warehouses, including Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have a deep understanding of cloud-enabled technologies, such as AWS RDS and Fargate, as well as ETL tools like AWS Glue.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline from a top-tier university. They should also have certification in AWS Data Engineer Specialty or Solution Architect Associate, as well as SnowPro Core Certification.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related quantitative discipline

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or similar role
  • Strong understanding of ETL, data warehouse, and BI concepts

  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communicator with team-oriented approach
