About the Role:
Aretha Legal seeks a highly skilled legal professional to join their team in Bangalore. As a General Corporate Lawyer, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing employment agreements, HR policies, termination documents, and consultancy contracts.

  • Provide expert advice on compliance with Indian labour laws, including Shops & Establishments Act, CLRA, ID Act, EPF, ESI, and PoSH.
  • Represent clients before labour authorities and support during inspections or audits.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and update clients on recent changes in employment and labour law landscape.
  • Offer expertise on employment contracts across multiple jurisdictions (including common law countries).

Key Responsibilities:
This is a growth-oriented role that involves complex legal work across various domains. You will have the opportunity to take on challenging projects and develop your skills through hands-on client exposure.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a reputable institution and have 3–5 years of experience in relevant practice areas. Additionally, you should have excellent legal drafting and research skills, as well as a strong understanding of commercial and corporate laws.
