Treasury and Trade Finance Leadership Opportunity

At our organization, we are seeking an experienced professional to assume the role of Treasury and Trade Finance Lead. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of financial operations, including banking relationships, loan portfolios, and cash pooling arrangements.

The successful candidate will have expertise in corporate banking operations and treasury management, with a strong understanding of trade finance instruments, foreign exchange risk management, and RBI/FEMA compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing banking relationships, loan portfolios, and cash pooling arrangements
  • Overseeing trade finance instruments (LCs, BGs, PBGs, ABGs)
  • Negotiating and releasing unused or excess bank guarantees
  • Monitoring foreign exchange risk and managing hedging strategies
  • Leading cash flow management and ensuring availability of working capital

Required qualifications include:

  • CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent
  • 6-10 years of experience in treasury and trade finance
  • Expertise in corporate banking operations and treasury management
  • In-depth knowledge of trade finance instruments
  • Proficiency in managing forex risk, hedging instruments, and RBI/FEMA compliance

Additional skills and qualifications include:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, cash management tools, and ERP systems
  • Strong negotiation skills with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions
  • Proactive stakeholder management across project, legal, and procurement functions
  • High accountability, ethical judgment, and confidentiality in financial matters
