Lead Creative Designer Job Description

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and experienced individual contributor with an outstanding track record of success on high-profile projects.

This role requires direct ownership of creative deliverables and coordination with cross-functional teams. Strong project management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage complex tasks and excel at problem-solving using a first-principles approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Creative Collaboration: Work directly with the product marketing team to brainstorm and produce high-quality artwork across digital and print formats.
  2. Execution: Be hands-on and responsible for producing creative work quickly and efficiently, demonstrating the ability to execute ideas independently from concept through final output.
  3. Concept Development: Independently plan and develop creative concepts by studying brand guidelines and analyzing industry competitors.
  4. Project Management: Take complete ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion according to established timelines and securing all necessary approvals for deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or Fine Art preferred.
  • 5+ years of seasoned creative experience in an agency, startup setting, or as a consultant.
  • Proficient in online and print design tools such as Canva, Figma, and InVideo.
  • Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
