International Trade Operations Specialist

We are an international banking & trade finance consulting firm helping global clients find the best solutions to finance their international trade & cover non-payment risks.
This is a full-time role for an International Trade Operations & Accounts Executive. The Executive will be based in our Kumbakonam office and responsible for managing daily international trade execution for our global client.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments and communicating with clients and suppliers. They will also be involved in preparing trade documentation and resolving any operational issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate the issuance of Proforma Invoices, Purchase Contracts, and subsequent prepare all shipping documents internally and liaise with customers, suppliers, and external agencies as per the process defined for the execution of orders.
- Liaise with international banks on Import & Export documentations.
- Monitor and ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are strictly adhered to for all order executions.
- AR & AP coordination with accounts and suppliers/customers.
- Contact point for Trade Services with Banks.
- Negotiate with banks for bank charges and fees and take care of payment negotiations, bills discounting, and other facilities.
"Salary" Estimated salary is ₹500,000 - ₹700,000 (approximately $6,300-$9,000 USD) depending on qualifications and experience."
At the discretion of the management, duties and responsibilities may be revised from time to time.
Requirements:- First Class Bachelor's degree in any discipline (BCom/ BBA/CA-Inter candidates preferred)
- Freshers and candidates with maximum 3-5 years' experience may apply
- Experience in customer service/operational/accounts role is an added advantage
- Very good spoken and written English communication skills is a must for this role as the nature of job involves interacting and communicating with international companies and banks
- Attention to detail and organized in work
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
HOURS OF WORK:
The normal office hours are 09am to 05:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Saturdays - Staff may be expected to come to work for half a day on management's instructions.
