Associate Engineering Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Engineering Manager to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and management, with experience in designing, developing, and deploying web-based applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering Leads, Product and Project Managers, and Product Analysts to ensure the product meets the highest standards of quality. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Development: Develop, enhance, document, and maintain application features in C#.Net, MVC, .net core, ReactJs, and React Native.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Pitch ideas and test new approaches to improve the product and services.
  • Project Management: Manage the full life cycle of supported applications and ensure timely delivery of improvements and bug fixes.
  • Troubleshooting: Support application outages and resolve escalated incidents using sound incident management practices.
  • Technical Solutions: Analyze business requirements, processes, data, and system integration points to determine/recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Integration and Deployment: Collaborate with other development teams for integration and deployment.
  • Software Development: Write and deliver complex code and modules to meet requirements, functional, and technical specifications.
  • Network Concepts: Understand network concepts and terminology.
  • Integration Projects: Demonstrate strong knowledge of architecting and developing integration projects using web services.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to oversee code development and potentially participate in problem-solving.
  • Industry Trends: Keep pace with innovative technologies and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
