Job Description:
Revenue Management LeaderThis role is responsible for driving revenue maximization efforts across all business streams. It involves maintaining rigorous standards of revenue management and reviewing performance against established goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze short- and long-term forecasting to identify trends in group inventories and rates.
- Monitor marketing channels, key accounts, and other production to ensure effective support of products and maintain rate parity.
- Review future bookings and evaluate trends to update all distribution channels as needed with rate or inventory restrictions.
- Develop region-specific strategies to drive growth and establish appropriate goals and benchmarks to measure performance.
- Monitor and analyze the competition weekly to identify selling strategies and emerging trends.
- Explore and provide variations in market mixes to stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs.
- Maintain software programs contributing to revenue management and assist with implementing Revenue Management basics and standards.
- MBA or Postgraduate degree in Finance and Revenue Management preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in the travel, airline, or hotel industry, and three to five years in Revenue Management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work well under deadline pressure. They should also be able to develop and deliver effective presentations and adapt quickly to a constantly changing market.
