About Chintan Research Foundation (CRF)

We are a non-profit public policy organization based in India, committed to advancing innovative solutions for global challenges. Our research focuses on Climate Change & Energy Transition, Economy & Trade, and Geopolitics & Strategic Studies.

Our Center for Climate Change & Energy Transition seeks a Research Fellow to provide evidence-based insights on climate policies. The Fellow will conduct in-depth research, analyze data, and lead the creation of high-quality analytical reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct rigorous research and data analysis on climate change and energy transition.
  • Lead the development of research reports, policy papers, and discussion papers.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to support research initiatives.
  • Oversee projects, including planning, budget management, and coordination responsibilities.
  • Establish a network of industry participants and collaborate with partners to enhance CRF's events and communication efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters or PhD in a relevant field, such as engineering or energy economics.
  • 13+ years of work experience in research and analysis.
  • Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and research software.

This role requires a strong background in climate change and energy transition, excellent research and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to new environments, deliver under tight deadlines, and effectively communicate complex ideas.
