About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Backend Engineer to design and build backend components of our MLOps platform on AWS. As part of our team, you will collaborate with geographically distributed cross-functional teams and participate in on-call rotation to handle production incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Design & Build Backend Components: Develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend components using Python and relevant frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with geographically distributed teams to ensure seamless integration and communication.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotation to handle production incidents and ensure minimal downtime.

Requirements:

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of professional backend web development experience with Python.
  • AWS Expertise: Strong experience with AWS services such as RDS, Redshift, S3, EFS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
  • Web Development Frameworks: Experience with web development frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Concurrent Programming: Experience with concurrent programming designs such as AsyncIO.
  • Testing Frameworks: Experience with unit and functional testing frameworks.
  • CLOUD EXPERIENCE: Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, preferably AWS.
  • CI/CD Practices: Experience with CI/CD practices, tools, and frameworks.
