Senior Engineering Leader - Railway Axle Counter Solutions

We seek an experienced professional to lead our Design and Engineering Support team in delivering railway axle counter solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of fail-safe signalling products, embedded systems, and reliability analysis, combined with the ability to engage stakeholders across Indian Railways, RDSO, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide design and engineering support for railway axle counter solutions, ensuring compliance with safety, signalling standards, and reliability requirements.
  • Lead verification and validation activities, including first-time right checks, to ensure quality and fail-safe product performance.
  • Liaise with RDSO and SAG & above level railway officers to address design, compliance, and product approval needs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of product failures, propose corrective actions, and drive engineering improvements.
  • Manage engineering documentation, design reports, and ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for project management, design support, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support embedded system-based product development with a focus on innovation and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronics and Communication (ECE) or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the Railway Signalling domain.
