HSE Specialist

The role of a Health Safety Specialist is crucial in promoting a safe work environment across all project phases.

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions on workplace safety and provide guidance to employees on the importance of adhering to safety protocols.
• Review and improve existing health, safety, and environmental plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely completion of risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental roles, preferably in construction, fabrication, installation, and/or commissioning projects.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certificate required; additional HSE trainings/certifications advantageous.

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 45001, OSHA, EU-OSHA).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
