As part of our Operational Risk Management (ORM) team, you'll facilitate and monitor the implementation of effective operational risk management programs throughout the organization, overseeing risk ownership across business units, products, and processes. Our goal is to embed operational risk management in our day-to-day operations, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our business processes.

The Sr. Analyst, Operational Risk Management (ORM) Process Risk Reduction role involves:

  • Collaborating with business units to identify systemic operational risks and prioritize them based on potential impact
  • Providing consultation on existing and new processes to mitigate identified operational risks
  • Monitoring the execution of controls within business processes and conducting reviews to ensure effectiveness and alignment with risk appetite
  • Leading cross-functional efforts to ensure consistent and coordinated process risk reduction activities across the organization, leveraging best practices and innovative risk mitigation strategies

Key Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in operational risk management, with a strong understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and obtain buy-in from senior business unit and technical counterparts

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in at least one of the following areas: coordinating with business units to identify systemic operational risks, providing consultation on existing and new processes, monitoring the execution of controls, or leading cross-functional efforts to ensure consistent and coordinated process risk reduction activities.
