Job Title: Store Operations Leader

As a Store Operations Leader, you will oversee the daily store operations of our flagship ethnic wear retail store. Your key responsibility will be to ensure world-class customer service, drive sales performance, and maintain the unique brand experience.

Your role involves managing all aspects of daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and POS systems. You will also be responsible for implementing seasonal campaigns, festive promotions, and new collection launches as directed by head office.

To succeed in this role, you will need to drive sales to achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets. You will also need to ensure customers receive personalized styling guidance for sarees, blouses, and accessories.

In addition, you will handle escalated customer queries, ensuring smooth exchange/return processes as per company policies. You will cultivate long-term relationships with loyal customers and promote membership/loyalty programs.

The team leadership responsibilities include recruiting, training, and supervising sales staff, stylists, and support personnel. You will monitor staff performance, set targets, and conduct regular team meetings.

Furthermore, you will oversee stock movement, replenishment, tagging, and barcoding. You will maintain accurate records of saree collections and ensure minimal stock loss/shrinkage.

Lastly, you will execute in-store events such as festive saree showcases, draping workshops, and wedding collection previews. You will coordinate with marketing for influencer visits, live streaming, and customer engagement activities.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication in English, Bengali, and Hindi
  • Knowledge of ethnic wear fabrics, draping styles, and customer preferences
  • Customer-first mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in billing software, POS systems, and MS Office

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred in Retail, Fashion Management, or Business)
  • 4–6 years of experience in apparel/ethnic retail management
