Cyber Automation Specialist


About the Role:

The ideal candidate will develop high-quality software applications using cutting-edge technologies. They will work in an Agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and value for clients through efficient automation solutions.

This role involves developing automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript, ensuring seamless integration of automation with existing systems, identifying and prioritizing areas for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing effort, designing and implementing automation frameworks to support large-scale testing environments.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Automation Development: Develop high-quality automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.
  2. Integration: Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of automation with existing systems.
  3. Process Improvement: Identify and prioritize areas for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing effort.
  4. Framework Design: Design and implement automation frameworks to support large-scale testing environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7+ Years of Experience: In software development and automation testing, preferably with a strong background in Cypress and JavaScript.
  • Cypress and JavaScript Expertise: Strong knowledge of Cypress and JavaScript, with the ability to write efficient and scalable test code.
  • API Automation Tools: Experience working with API automation tools such as SuperTest, RestAssured, and SOAP UI.
  • BDD Framework and Unit Testing: Understanding of BDD framework and unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing.
  • Continuous Integration and Delivery: Good understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery environment and platforms, especially Maven and Jenkins.

Preferred Skills:
  • UI Development Frameworks: Experience with UI development frameworks like ReactJS.
  • JavaScript Applications: Hands-on experience in writing JavaScript applications in nodejs (Minimum Node 10).

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science: BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline.
  • JavaScript Experience: At least 3 years of experience working in JavaScript and able to demonstrate good JavaScript knowledge.
