Senior Business Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate meetings and brainstorming sessions with business and technical teams.
  • Analyze and document business requirements; translate into detailed technical stories and tasks.
  • Create use case diagrams, workflow charts, and process flows to support development teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and updates.
  • Lead and support the end-to-end SDLC process, including UAT coordination and demo sessions.
  • Provide ongoing support and clarification to development and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive scrum planning and report progress to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis with exposure to the insurance domain.
  • Strong understanding of the US insurance market is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Postman, Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile (Scrum), and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of API protocols (SOAP/REST), SWAGGER, and service integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with UML diagrams and business intelligence tools (reporting, dashboards, data analysis).
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, JavaScript, C#) is a plus.
