Job Description:
- Validate ECU software by leveraging domain expertise in Body Controls or relevant Functionalities on Component HiL.
- Utilize strong knowledge of Automotive System Components to ensure seamless system integration.
- Employ testing methodologies and test strategies for ECU validation, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Set up Test benches & configurations for ECUs, familiarizing with HIL system functionality, hardware/software tool sets, and ensuring optimal performance.
- Investigate root causes for defects observed during verification and report findings to stakeholders.
- Experience with CANoe/CANalyzer or other analyzing tools is highly desirable.
- A basic understanding of CAN, LIN, Ethernet communication, and diagnostic protocols is essential.
- The ability to automate testing through Scripting languages like CAPL (expert level), VTestStudio (basic), Python (basic) is crucial.
- Familiarity with Model Based Development programming tools (Matlab SIMULINK) is an advantage.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong technical expertise in ECU software validation.
- 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to execute tasks independently and meet deadlines.
