HIL Test Configuration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HIL test configuration specialist to take on a challenging role in the development of complex systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive system components, with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in ECU software validation and test strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ECU SW validation with domain expertise in body controls or relevant functionalities on component HiL.
  • Setting up test benches and configurations for ECUs, familiar with HIL system functionality, hardware/software tool sets.
  • Hardware IO requirements, sensor and actuator signal interfaces.
  • Identification of root cause for defects observed during verification and reporting the defects.
  • Automated testing through scripting languages like CAPL (expert level), O, VTestStudio (basic), M, python (basic).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in ECU software validation and test strategies for ECU validation.
  • Good work experience and knowledge in automotive system components.
  • Basic knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet communication and diagnostic protocols.
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to execute tasks independently and bring to closure in time.

Bonus Requirements:

  • Experience with CANoe/CANalyzer or any other analyzing tools.
  • Know-how/hands-on with any model-based development programming tools (Matlab SIMULINK) is an advantage.
