Job Role Overview:

The ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned Test Lead with a strong background in software testing and leadership. They will be responsible for managing a team of quality assurance engineers, overseeing the development and execution of test plans, and ensuring that all testing activities are conducted efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure that all aspects of the product or service are thoroughly tested.
  • Lead a team of quality assurance engineers to achieve high-quality results and meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and project management to ensure that testing activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize defects to ensure timely resolution and minimize business impact.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing activities, including test cases, test data, and defect reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing and leadership, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving results-driven outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
  • Knowledge of automation testing tools and technologies, such as Selenium or Appium.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB Foundation Level, would be an asset.
