Job Summary

This role requires a skilled professional to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications.

  • Datacom networking domain understanding including RIB, FIB and Layer 2, Layer 3 protocols.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation using Cafy framework based on Python.
  • Familiarity with Cisco IOS-XR products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system requirements, be able to develop software solutions and ensure quality assurance parameters are met.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications.
  2. Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage and work processes.
  3. Investigate problem areas and follow the software development life cycle.
  4. Analyze client requirements and convert them into feasible designs.
  5. Collaborate with functional teams to investigate software requirements.
  6. Perform coding and ensure optimal software module development.
  7. Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements and proposed software.
  8. Develop and automate processes for software validation.
  9. Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware or improve its performance.
  10. Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
