US Property Accounting Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished property accountant with expertise in US accounting principles and practices to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing accounting processes and ensuring financial accuracy for clients based in the United States.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key advisor, providing expert guidance and solutions on complex accounting matters.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- Communicate directly with clients (primarily U.S.-based) to address queries, provide updates, and ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage recurring bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients, ensuring consistent and accurate financial reporting.
- Perform monthly and quarter-end close processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled properly.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in Sage Intacct and Yardi Voyager.
- Proven experience working with U.S.-based clients, with a deep understanding of US GAAP and its application to accounting processes.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, including lease accounting (ASC 842), CAM reconciliation, and other US GAAP standards.
