About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Aviin Tech. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a challenging role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data architecture and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Develop and maintain robust databases, data warehouses, and data lakes to store and manage large datasets.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists to translate complex algorithms into production-ready systems.
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Build the necessary infrastructure to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Work with stakeholders to resolve data-related technical issues and provide expert guidance on data management best practices.
  • Design and implement data models and architecture to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to improve data retrieval and analysis efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality, integrity, and security to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and enforce data governance and privacy policies to protect sensitive information.
  • Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to promote growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering to drive innovation and excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in ETL tools, data modeling, and database design.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, SQL, or Java.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
  • Experience in data pipeline orchestration and automation.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and security principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year
