Job Overview:

Azilen Technologies seeks an experienced Chief Data Architect to design and implement scalable cloud-based data warehousing solutions using Azure.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled data architect to lead the development of large-scale enterprise data warehouse solutions utilizing Azure analytics services.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement cloud-based data warehousing solutions leveraging Azure Data Factory, Synapse, SQL, Data Lake, and App Service.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for reusable code, libraries, patterns, and frameworks for cloud-based data warehousing and ETL.
  • Collaborate with project managers for sprint planning by estimating technical tasks and deliverables.
  • Engage with clients' leadership and technology teams in strategic discussions to provide technical strategy and industry guidance.
  • Maintain standards for cloud-based data warehouse solutioning, including naming conventions.
  • Lead small and large teams in delivering solutions for customers.
  • Analyze current business practices and identify future opportunities for leveraging Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics Services.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in designing and developing cloud-based analytics solutions.
  • Expert-level understanding of Azure Data Factory, Synapse, SQL, Data Lake, and App Service.
  • Knowledge of Dev-Ops processes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code is essential.
  • Experience with NO-SQL solutions using Azure Cosmos DB is required.
  • Strong experience in common data warehouse modeling principles, including Kimball and Inmon.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Matillion, BryteFlow, and Tableau is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Azure Databricks, IoT, HDInsight + Spark, Stream Analytics, Power BI is desirable.
  • C# and PowerShell scripting skills are desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Python is desirable.
  • Experience developing security models.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,000,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
