Software Engineer Job

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and scaling of high-performance web applications in the travel industry. The successful candidate will work on various projects, designing and implementing scalable architectures, writing efficient code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop responsive front-end applications using modern frameworks like React.js.
  • Create scalable back-end services and APIs using Node.js (Express.js or Nest.js).
  • Integrate external travel APIs and real-time webhooks.
  • Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Implement caching strategies and performance tuning.
  • Ensure data and application security.
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Collaborate with developers and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS.
  • Proficiency in Node.js with Express.js or Nest.js; REST API design.
  • Experience in microservices architecture and third-party API integrations.
  • Database expertise: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of caching, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Understanding of data security and encryption principles.
  • Agile experience, Git workflows, and code review practices.
