Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance database architectures using SQL & NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in database optimization, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning. Additionally, experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL) and ETL processes is highly valued. Our team collaborates closely with AI engineers on vector databases and real-time analytics workflows. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a dynamic environment, and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
## Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.).
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS) is a plus.
- Expertise in database optimization, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling.
- Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL).
- Familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability strategies.
- Strong Python/SQL scripting skills for automation.
