System Analyst Job Description

Overview:

As a skilled system analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing test cases, executing tests, and supporting defect management.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both manual and automated testing, with proficiency in tools such as Tosca, ALM, and Jira. You will conduct hands-on functional testing, perform various testing types including positive, negative, functional, interface, integration, and regression testing, and estimate testing effort accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze business specifications and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts, including test data preparation.
  2. Conduct hands-on functional testing.
  3. Perform various testing types including positive, negative, functional, interface, integration, and regression testing.
  4. Use ALM and Jira tools effectively for test management: test script preparation, updating test cases, logging and managing defects, and preparing reports.
  5. Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
  6. Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to write detailed test cases and scripts based on functional specifications.

Requirements:

  • Solid background in both manual and automated testing.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Tosca, ALM, and Jira.
  • Experience in SAP FI module testing.
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP TRM, SAP IHC, and SAP Banking testing.
