Job Role

We're seeking an exceptional Data Scientist to join our diverse team. As an Applied Scientist/Data Scientist, you'll contribute to designing, developing, and improving AI/ML models and systems.

About the Job

This is a unique opportunity to leverage machine learning research and solve complex problems in the insurance industry and beyond. Our focus is on creating mission-critical AI systems that address some of computer vision's most challenging issues.

  • Design, develop, and improve AI/ML models and systems.
  • Collaborate with applied scientists, data scientists, software engineers, and product partners to deliver AI/ML solutions at scale.
  • Create AI/ML models, workflows, and end-to-end pipelines for data preparation, training, deployment, monitoring, etc.
Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related quantitative field. A PhD in Computer Science or related fields with a focus on Machine Learning is a strong plus.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in several areas: machine vision (classical methods and deep learning) and information retrieval. Natural language processing is a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals or a proven track record of industry innovation in creating novel solutions and advancing the state of the art.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
  • End-to-end software development and life cycle of machine learning solutions.
