Manufacturing Operations Director

About the Role

This position involves overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production, assembly, fabrication, paint shop, and machine shop. The successful candidate will ensure timely execution of manufacturing plans while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

The role demands strategic thinking, hands-on experience in machine assembly, fabrication, and industrial engineering, particularly within the capital equipment manufacturing domain.


Key Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient shop floor performance, robust supply chain coordination, and world-class quality control.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on productivity, quality, and cost savings.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

Requirements
  • 20-25 years of relevant manufacturing experience in capital equipment, machinery, or engineering industries.
  • Hands-on exposure to fabrication, machining, and machine assembly shop floors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Indian labor laws, vendor ecosystems, and manufacturing best practices.
