Job Description:

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining in-sprint automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.

Aligning these scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories is also key to your success.

Further responsibilities include executing automated tests, logging defects with detailed reproduction steps, and supporting defect triage.

You will create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation.

Reusability is crucial; identifying and maintaining reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing is a top priority.

Contributing to the automation regression suite and maintaining automation assets are also essential tasks.

Collaboration is vital; working with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently is critical to our team's success.

Automation best practices should always be followed, and peer reviews should be actively participated in.

A Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) should be prepared and maintained.

Manual testing efforts may require support from time to time, including test planning, execution, and reporting.

Tracking and reporting QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity is also important.

Required Skills & Experience:

We seek candidates with 1–3 years of experience in functional and automation testing.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects is necessary.

Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright or JavaScript based frameworks such as Cypress/Selenium is required.

Independently handling Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging is expected.

Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or equivalent is highly valued.

Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards is essential.

Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting is also necessary.

Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.

Knowledge on CI / CD is preferred.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing is desired.
