Android Framework Specialist

Technology & Domain:
We are seeking an experienced Android Framework Expert to join our team at Career Makers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android Application & Service/API development, as well as expertise in Android Framework internals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate Android Framework components, including Window Manager, Activity Manager, and OOM/LMK.
- Design and implement System Services and interfaces.
- Develop Android R/Generic Kernel Image (GKI Compliance) and GKI compliant Kernel drivers.
- Ensure kernel stability and support.
- Develop kernel memory management modules.
- Develop Android Vendor Modules and HAL AIDL/HIDL modules.
- Work on system power/performance management modules.
Leadership & Soft-skills:
The successful candidate will also possess strong leadership and soft-skills, including:
- End-to-end integration of developed functionality to native/managed client in user space.
- System and unit test case development for modules developed.
- Collaboration with the core development team on power/performance/thermal solution integration, stabilization, and commercialization.
- Commercialization issue resolution.
Requirements:
- Expertise in Android Application & Service/API development in Managed code (Java, Kotlin) and Native (C/C++).
- Android Framework internals expertise.
- Strong leadership and soft-skills.
