Job Title: Android Framework Expert

Career Makers is seeking an experienced Android Framework Expert to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing Android applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop expertise in Android Application and Service/API development in Managed code (Java, Kotlin) and Native (C/C++)
  • Understand Android Framework internals, including Window Manager, Activity Manager, OOM/LMK, and System Service development
  • Design and develop Android R/Generic Kernel Image (GKI Compliance) and GKI compliant Kernel driver development
  • Ensure kernel stability and support, including kernel memory management module development
  • Develop Android Vendor Module and HAL AIDL/HIDL module development, including VTS test development
  • Work with the core development team on power/performance/thermal solution integration, stabilization, and commercialization
  • Resolve commercialization issues
Requirements:
  • Expertise in Android Application and Service/API development
  • Strong understanding of Android Framework internals
  • Experience with kernel development and stability assurance
  • Good communication and team player skills
  • Ability to drive projects to completion and manage stakeholders
