Key Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business recovery plans and procedures, reviewing and revising existing plans, as well as expanding them to meet the company's needs.

  • Business Continuity Planning: Develops and implements enterprise-wide business continuity plans and procedures; reviews, revises, and expands existing plans and protocols.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Develops, maintains, and implements disaster recovery plans, risk assessments, and application and technical strategies together with other teams.
  • Risk Assessment: Conducts comprehensive risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as natural disasters, security breaches, legal claims, and market disruptions.
  • IT Organization Alignment: Drives alignment of IT organization priorities and plans with key business objectives, ensuring seamless execution and strategic growth.
  • Recovery Operations: Identifies, troubleshoots, and implements recovery operations and methods to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity in the event that part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed.

Required Experience

A minimum of 5-9 years of experience in disaster recovery planning, business continuity management, and IT service delivery is required. This experience should include developing and implementing business recovery plans, conducting risk assessments, and driving IT organization alignment.
