Project Transition Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to take on the role of Project Transition Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for managing multiple transitions simultaneously and ensuring that projects are completed within given timelines and budgets while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing active transitions as assigned.
  • Acting as the customer's single point of contact (SPOC) for all questions, decisions, actions, and updates.
  • Supporting the project team as the first escalation point for internal and customer issues.
  • Leading governance calls and meetings for internal and customer updates.
  • Planning, conducting, and managing relevant training programs for the transition team.
  • Participating in or conducting assessments to gauge the training needs of the team.
  • Understanding strategic business objectives of the customer and facilitating the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Participating in the creation and review of transition solutions for requests for proposal (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Identifying and defining business cases; defining project tasks and resource requirements; developing detailed project charters, project plans, and transition plans based on solution complexity, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Combining process migration activities with IT implementation.
  • Providing customers with a distinct advantage by having the vendor manage both IT and operations.
  • Optimizing the transition methodology – reducing time, costs, risks, retaining/improving quality.
  • Responsible for risk management – understanding business and operational risks and developing and executing mitigation plans.
  • Responsible for driving process-specific business continuity planning.
  • Creating and/or maintaining project management documents including status reports, project plans, knowledge transfer documentation, and requisite approvals on Clarity.
  • Participating in opportunity analysis/due diligence of potential projects. Supporting solutioning of new bids/RFP-RFI responses/client presentations and sales cycles.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Education: Graduate/Postgraduate degree.

Experience: 10+ years in BPO/BPM background.

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
