PHP / Magento Backend Engineer

Role Description
- Develop, build and maintain production-grade Magento & PHP applications driving business logic and integrations.
- Build and enhance end-to-end automation for build, test, and deployment using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Partner with frontend and product teams to help define engineering standards.
- 5+ years of experience in building Magento and PHP applications.
- Hands-on experience building scalable automated pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) with testing, linting and blue-green/rolling deployments.
- Good understanding of network and application security.
- Ability to design for performance, resilience, and cost-effectiveness from day one.
- Experience working in startup/fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with Codeigniter.
- Skills in designing, deploying and operating AWS-based systems at scale (EC2, RDS, VPCs, Load Balancers, IAM, S3, CloudFront, Route 53).
- Exposure to additional observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk).
- Knowledge on Docker (bonus if you also know any orchestration platform: Kubernetes or ECS).
- Experience Level: 5+ Years.
- Languages Known (Communication): Must know: English, good to know: Telugu, Hindi.
