About this opportunity: We're seeking a skilled Python Automation Test Engineer with Scala experience to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and test scenarios, driving collaboration and transparency.
  • Create and execute comprehensive test cases to validate software functionality and performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and leverage testing frameworks like PyTest or Robot Framework to streamline automation execution and enhance efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to integrate automated tests, ensuring seamless deployment.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work collaboratively with developers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Leverage Scala to interact with back-end systems or create custom test utilities, enhancing the overall testing experience.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting efforts to drive informed decision-making and process improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation related to test strategies and processes, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with testing frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
