About the Role:

Our team is seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Automation Tester. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts, executing tests, logging defects, and supporting defect triage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews.
  • Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Support manual testing efforts when required.

Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in functional and automation testing.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects.

Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright or JavaScript based frameworks like Cypress/Selenium.

Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as JIRA, or equivalent.

Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards.

Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing.

Familiarity with performance testing tools & CI/CD tools should be good.
