Job Overview

The finance team is the backbone of our business. The department has grown from its initial internal accounting setup to a major function that supports all areas of the business, including assessing financial implications from various key strategic decisions and growth opportunities.

The Finance Manager is responsible for leading accounting operations, ensuring fair and accurate financials comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting:

  • Lead compliance requirements with US and India GAAP and local Tax and Accounting regulations.
  • Ensure timely closure of audits and filing of statutory reports.

Compliance:

  • Maintain a compliance calendar for multiple geographies for all applicable laws and compliance requirements.
  • Manage vendor invoices, record payments, and ensure tax compliance.

Financial Analysis and Process Set Up:

  • Provide support to the executive team to assess the financial impact of new initiatives.
  • Coordinate financial accounting systems needed to maintain reporting specifications.

People / Stakeholder Management

  • Manage a team of accounting professionals and guide them in controllership functions.
  • Establish a strong service culture whereby high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved continuously.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Experience required:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Overall experience of about 4-6 years is required.
