Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality of our software products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases and automated/manual test scripts.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers and QA teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration and workflow testing across various systems.
  • Identify, document and track software defects using tools such as JIRA/Xray and work closely with developers to resolve them.
  • Participate in Agile/KANBAN development processes, daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Provide QA leadership, mentoring junior team members and maintaining test documentation and best practices.
  • Ensure traceability of test cases to business and technical requirements.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating test suites into Jenkins and similar tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of experience in Software QA, with at least 4 years in Financial Services.
  • Deep knowledge of testing methodologies, QA processes and defect life cycle.
  • Experience with buy-side and sell-side OMS platforms, such as Fidessa, CRIMS, EMSX or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with Java-Selenium, Ranorex or Tricentis TOSCA for automated testing.
  • Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL and familiarity with Databricks for data validation and backend testing.
  • Experience with JIRA/Xray, Agile development methodologies (Scrum/KANBAN), and QA planning tools.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins.
